I've had the same little ring in my ear for about two decades. A little throwback to being slightly rebellious in the early 80s that I regularly consider getting rid of, but then don't. I almost forget it's there most of the time.... until Holly notices the shiny object and gives it a good tug!

Mom passed away. when the guy
asked me why i was getting it,
i told him, "In her memory".
a few years later, my DIL did
another one(same ear, a bit
higher). she asked me why,
