i'm the "walk-in queen" of the resort, if you come by in the evening i can pretend your a tough bargainer and give you a great room for the lowest i can, queen bed, fireplace, full bath, in one of our cabins here for 129$ (reg. $199), that's if your a walk-in and i get you, i'll give you that!!!
sunwapta falls resort is on the 93 Hwy, 55km (33ish miles?) south of the town of Jasper. I work almost every evening. :) I hope I get to meet you!

I don't know you, really. But I see glimpses of this great guy, complete with foibles and fears, and know what? This trip will be fine. You can't predict what you will discover for better or worse. Just do it.
Once I cried so hard on a forlorn Texas highway that I convinced myself that it was haunted and everyone cried that hard on that highway. I later adjusted that opinion.
I don't know why life is so mysterious, but it is.
I think of the Indigo Girls' song about all the place's they sought release and comfort and think of the chorus "It's only Life after All." Grand and mysterious. Go see. Wish you good things and friends and the ability to see. To quote Georgia O'Keefe, "Seeing takes time."

One more set of maps for the road ... seriously, with a couple more maps/guidebooks, the battery chargers, and the AAA card, I'd consider myself logistically set and get busy with the laundry.

All God's children need travelling shoes. I will admit to being slightly pea-green at the prospect; my feet are a bit itchy after my recent Back Roads of New Mexico and Colorado escapade. Safe journeys, and do not cease from your explorations.
