It is supposed to be a sculpture of him, but it is a little controversial, since it looks like a tree with his face in it and it is someting like 10 feet tall.

that is so awesome. it reminds me how lucky i am that, youngish as i am, i was able to see a show before he died...the 7th to last show ever. btw, where IS that?

It is at a place called McMenamins, outside of Portland. On the grounds of a former "poor house" where these folks have some restaurants, a brewery, some art galleries and some cool gardens.

This was deep in one of the gardens, and it was pitch black when we found it. The only way we could see it was in brief flashes when i took the pictures.
