February 6--the tailor
Feb. 6th, 2006 10:25 pm
My father-in-law is a tailor.
I brought him one of my lab coats to repair. Even though I told him I didn't need it for a few days, he put down what he was working on and did it right away.
He is that kind of a person.
I watched him work while I ate my lunch. As he worked he told me stories from his childhood in the Philippines--about his friends who became priests.
He put all seven of his children through college with his hands and his skill.
He is about the most humble person I know.
