March 13--photography class

i finished my third print for class this evening
i like being in the darkroom
there is a rhythm that i feel
when i am in the dark

that's a startling photo! the angel is so sad.

my dad had a darkroom set up in the bathroom closet at home. we had only the one bathroom, so when he was developing photos, we had to watch out! i remember the line he clipped the prints to for drying after running them through the various baths. i remember the smells. he likes the dark too, i think.
