My grandfather did, on a piece of firewood about 40+ years ago. It sat out on his front porch for many years, and now it sits on mine. It's so weathered that you can barely see the face anymore.

That's delightful. I'd love to have something like that I could look at regularly; I'm one of those people who looks for the faces in panelling.
