April 20--reading list

I just finished Gilead--what an amazing book! Another slow, reflective read. I highly recommend it.
Starting The Sparrow, which I think will be a fairly fast read.
Yeah, I keep a bunch of books in a drawer by my bed.

Date: 2006-04-21 02:42 pm (UTC)"The Sparrow" still clings with me and usually I find 90% of the books I read forgettable. That includes prize winners and literary ladeedahs and best sellers.
Perhaps I have limited brain hard drive storage.
