April 27--wheelin' and dealin'

I went over and played catch with Holly for a while this afternoon before I went to work. Her mom is expecting another baby in September, and Holly wants it to be a boy. We talk about this all the time. For a while, Holly wanted to be a boy when she grew up, but now she wants to be a bulldozer.

I asked her what would happen if the baby turned out to be a girl--whether she would trade it to me for a kitten. She said she would, but only if it were a girl--she's keeping it if it's a boy.
