I prefer rhinos to hippos hands down. And pigs are cool if they can fly. As for Poor Richard, in Watermelon Sugar is clearly my personal favorite though it is probably not his best work. As a serious writer, I find his body of work a bit sideways. His poetry never made the cut very often, and his best books were really a kind of poetry....like the surrealism of Watermelon Sugar, and they appear more brilliant as time goes by.
