I had a very good afternoon, and then bought a new dish strainer!

You live life on the edge :-) Love the way the water looks in this shot. ~A

That's not being a dork!
Say, have you ever read a book of little essays by Michael Kimmelman, called "The Accidental Masterpiece: On the Art of Life and Vice Versa"? Little essays on artists and photographers and collectors of lightbulbs. People who've insisted on seeing the beauty in everyday things. I think you'd like it. :)

Which ones?

The terra cotta place I did the two-day photo shoot at back in October used to make franciscan ware.

Mostly Wildflower and California poppy, but to a lesser extent, to fill in gaps, Forget-me-not and Desert rose. I don't collect hard, they're expensive, I just pick them up when they come to me at reasonable prices, and use them as fillers in an ordinary white full table set.

I'm sure I've told you this before, but my mom has those dishes, and every time you post a picture of them, it feels like I'm home :)

I think you did. These were from my grandma's house, and always make me think of her.
