november 22--08:00 to 09:00 (breakfast at the metro)

08:41 am--my class doesn't start until 10 am, so I spend some time in the coffee place across the street from the campus. it's a great little shop--the coffee is good, the muffins are freshly baked, and the wireless internet is always working. I usually spend some time writing in my paper journal while I enjoy the morning. It is one of the favorite hours of my week.

I love that song--I play it. Catch me with my guitar sometime, forgive my musical limitations, and we'll sing it. A lovely elegiac, darkly hopeful song. "...believed that they were meant to live, after the deluge."
