09:32 am--as is our custom, we eat a slow, leisurely breakfast and talk about what is going on in our lives. I like this picture, because, although I had less than ten seconds to get from the camera to my chair and "pose", it perfectly captures how I was feeling.

the green stuff? it's nice because it lets the light in, but cuts that hot, hot sacramento sun.
