I'm sitting at the airport, waiting for my flight to board. I got here way early because there is a big storm coming in and I wanted the people who brought me to the airport to get home before it got too bad. It's a two-hour drive, and doing it in a driving rain is tiring. My flight doesn't board for at least another hour, but I found a nice little corner with a plug and a nice internet signal, so I am good for the moment.

I'm sitting next to a big group of people from Industrial Light and Magic. It's the company that does the movie special effects. They are all going somewhere to do something. Just like me.

I'm not happy with the pants I decided to wear on the flight--the pockets are shallow, and I don't want stuff (like passport) to fall out. It's too late to change, since all my other clothes are checked, so I am stuck with what I've got. They're comfortable, and I guess that's the important thing.

I just looked over and noticed that all the ILM people are wearing black. Just like me. I decided the best way to not forget to bring the black shoes was to wear them.

My plane will land in Bangkok about 22 hours from now. New life.

nice shot! I find it interesting that in the USA one finds all these places - airports/hospitals etc where one can just plug in a laptop and get free (seemingly) internet connection. One always has to pay for it down under.
