Also a good call. I have a friend whose son is blind from birth...now, ironically, aged 3. My friend comes into the classroom to volunteer every year and does a lesson with the kids on using the braille machine. Watching those small hands move across the page shows just how strong the written word can be -in all its forms. I can't help but reflect how multi-layered this image is, knowing your subject can't see it; just like when my friend shares with sighted children a bridge into the world her son experiences. Am looking forward to this series...away from the left foot for a while... though a hand holding a warm cup of coffee...hmmm LOL ~A
