Water woes part 2
Dec. 11th, 2003 10:42 amThe water company folks came back this morning to look for the leak under our lawn. Unfortunately, it seems to be nowhere near the meter, meaning that they won't fix it.
I called a plumber. I had always heard that plumbers were expensive, and I knew they made more than nurses, but I wasn't sure how much more.
Now I know how much more. Much much more.
$47.50 for the first fifteen minutes, and $35 for every fifteen minutes thereafter.
Multiply that by, "I'm not sure where this thing is, I'm gonna have to do some serious digging."
Oh boy.
