Hospital day 3

Well, Arlina is feeling a lot better. They kept increasing her medication doses until they reached a point where the pain became tolerable--pretty much her baseline. But it takes a lot of IV narcotic to do it. I guess when they discharge her, she will have to go home on some sort of infusion pump. I'm not sure how that works--it is pretty far removed from the kind of nursing I do.

She had her MRI yesterday and we should hear what it showed today or tomorrow. Hopefully it shows something that will respond to radiation or something.
