zyzylyMy nieces were confirmed yesterday, and my wife and I stood as their sponsors. They are growing so fast! The older one is now less than a half-inch from being as tall as me, and she's only 12. It's not like she's a giant or anything, I'm just short.
The confirmation was good. We had the "Nice Bishop", who exemplifies the role of shepherd to his flock. He is so gentle and caring. He even recognized me and made a point of saying hello--what a guy!
After the confirmation we went out for chinese food and I exteded my streak of eating at least one fortune cookie a day to 8 days (it's a lent thing).
